I go to this wonderful oasis to Meditate several times. I am just starting meditation. I am not Buddist. I just read a book and went to the temple on a friend's recommendation. A connection to Buddism is not required, just a respect for the temple. That is, drive very slowly in the parking lot, take off shoes before entering and be quiet inside.

A lovely center for peaceful meditation and reflecting.. Abbott That makes everyone feel welcome and encourages open discussion.after meditation on Friday evenings. The night I attended the temple was full of people across all ages.

The serenity of this beautiful place has an instant calming affect upon me & my family. I feel happier with myself, my spouse, my children. I have more patience with everyone. I love going here on Friday night Mindful Meditation sessions. Sharing positive energy with many loving, kind, and compassionate like-minded people in such a gentle & nonjudgmental atmosphere is truly been more beneficial than girls/guys night out drinking, therapy, and medication. Like Thay says "Try meditation before medication. 100% guarantee, you happy or your money back, guaranteed!" -of course, he's joking, they have never asked any of us for any money. The most they request is maybe to attend a "community beautification day" participation- where they pick up garbage in the neighborhood . Full of lovely people. I have made friends with a nun (I'm horrible with names), we do not speak the same language- but we share hugs & smiles & love. That is the only language that matters: kindness. 🙏🏻 give it a try & stick with it- you will get positive results of you give it a
Chance. 💜💛💜💛💜
