Wat Wimuttayaram Buddhist Temple of Louisiana, Inc. is a nonprofit religious corporation that is domestically incorporated with the Secretary of State of Louisiana on November 12, 2009. The temple is exclusively operated for religious purposes.
The temple is created for the public benefit, not for the benefits of any individuals, directors, officers and/or members. The temple provides religious services and equal opportunities to everybody without the discrimination of race, sex, and belief.
The purpose of the non-profit corporation is:
a. To foster the understanding of Buddhism;
b To establish a permanent Buddhist center in New Orleans, Louisiana; and
c. To create understanding and common bond among those who seek the truth through the study of Buddhism.
