Tandur Indian Kitchen

My husband and I thought we would try this restaurant tonight for the first time and I have to say I was kind of disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it has a great atmosphere and the people there are extremely friendly which is probably why it's so busy and popular. However it is not a family friendly place; we had our 5 month old baby with us tonight and I had to change her diaper but there was no changing table in the bathroom or room to do it so I had to change her on a bench in the restaurant ...then there was no trash cans in the dining area to throw anything away so I had to walk the diaper through the Restaurant and throw it away in the bathroom. It was extremely inconvenient and that was all before the food came. The food arrives and the portion size does not line up for the cost of the food. Way too much money for what you're getting. It's a real shame because i was really looking forward to eating here. I do give it three stars because they were so friendly

The service is not very good.... The staff doesn't comply with you properly...they seem to be aloof and not bothering..... The way food is prepared is not proper. The spices doesn't get well with the cuisine (mutton, chicken, paneer) as both are prepared separately and just mixed and served.... I might sound futile, but the amount of main dish (curry) and side dish (rice) is very low given the cost of the food. You can get much more quantity and quality Indian cuisine in other restaurants in town with same price. The only thing good about this place is it is designed with bright color, looks clean.

Absolutely wonderful staff! I dare say the best I've ever encountered. They were so friendly and helpful when we were trying to figure out something my infant could eat as well. The food is very good too. Some Indian restaurants can make their food too salt. This place is perfect. They do have smaller portions than a typical indian restaurant. I did think the naan bread was thinner than the last time I went. It was very thin and kind of more like a cracker. Not very bread like. That's probably the most negative thing I can say about this place.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fast and beautifully plated. The price that of a sit down Indian restaurant, and a bit high for 2 people in a fast food atmosphere. This would have been fine if it tasted good, but this is where it went terribly flat. The saag tasted like it was canned spinach and had the flavor profile to match. The Marsala sauce tasted like spicy spaghetti-O sauce, and the chicken had a propane flavor. The samosas were good, but not traditional. We will not repeat the experience, and recomend that you avoid it as well if you truly like authentic Indian food.

Traveling home back to Georgia and stopped for a quick lunch. We ran across this little gem. It’s Indian cuisine with a millennial twist. It was fresh, fast, and fun. The manager and staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fun. We hope to see one of theses pop up in Georgia soon. Oh and most importantly the food was delicious!
