Very cute hidden gem inside union station. Although the store is very tiny it has a great selection of best sellers and classic literature. Employee was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Friendly book store around downtown Denver with good collections of books and tote bags!
I love this Tattered Cover bookshop inside Union Station. It looks like a small space. However, they’ve figured out how to store plenty of books and other goodies. There’s limited metered parking around Union Station. You can also take the light rail and gey off at a nearby stop.
I visited this store on a stay cation at Union Station. They had hardly any inventory. I wanted a book for myself and I looked to find a book for my daughter. Bare bones shelves. The sole employe then loudly announced to my husband and me the only customers there that they were shutting the store down for their break time. We left without purchasing. It's poorly run.
This is a wonderful place to spend time amongst its books and authors. Quite a huge independent bookstore in a historical building and many complementary items to keep one amused. This is not a 5 minute stop to appreciate their efforts. Allow time to browse and enjoy. Parking is complicated in the evenings as it is all over the Union Station area. We were lucky and found street meter parking for a buck/hour a block away. See pics for the beauty and enjoy a beverage or snack while there. Definitely a must visit while in Denver.
Very cute subset of the Iconic Tattered Cover Bookstore on 16th St. This place is small but mighty wIth a good selection of wall to wall books. Good to brose if you're waiting for a table or need to pick up a last minute souvenir. Also you can look straight out into the train yard which is cool.
This bookstore is a Denver classic. This multi-storied building has any book or magazine that you're looking for. If you want to sit and enjoy your time, there's a nice place to sit. Need a cup of coffee or a quick bite? There's something here too! Don't miss just stopping by to see what the hype is all about!
Was a bit confused because a lot of the photos for this location seem to actually be of the main location on 16th street. This place is tiny but had a decently selection of goods. The shelves were quite bare I must say, with some shelves only holding 3-4 books. But still found a good that I wanted to purchase! Will have to go visit the 16th st store because that was the experience I was actually hoping for!
I waked in with my husband and he bought a journal here. Your employee ,AJ, is really sweet, kind, and helpful.
Beautiful bookstore with locations both in Union Station and just about two blocks over in this huge location. Great little cafe. Loads of places to sit and read something to make sure it's what you want to buy. Prices are pretty high, but bookstores are becoming extinct so I don't mind.
