TaxSlayer Center

I went to the TaxSlayerCenter for the Rock Island high school graduation ceremony. It was a wonderful ceremony. I am very glad they picked this location to have it. There was more than enough room. Also there was food available before the ceremony by vendors. There were only two gripes to be had. The seats didn't allow for much personal space. Also the cushion on the seat didn't give any comfort.

Nice place. Ice hockey staff hard working and quick. Bit pricey. Some events great. Others seem to have some problems. Lots of parking. Police always there to direct traffic after big events.

I have been a patron for many years. The center has a beautiful setting. The attractions are always excellent! Today May 27,2018 we were there for a graduation for a Quad City high school . My elderly father has Parkinson's and can no longer walk. I noticed many other wheel chair family members. The outside temperatures were very warm in the 90s. Staff would try hard to accommodate the disabled. It was other patrons that had no regard for less able people. At the end of the ceremony cars were parked in the area to pick up those people with disabilities.. but no one was in the cars. "Herds" of able people with no regard to the handicapped were in that same driveway area talking and chatting making it impossible for cars to park and to load people in cars that were able to finally get to the curb. My sister finally went to staff to get those inconsiderate people to move. What a disgrace. What utter disregard for those less fortunate .

I visited the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, IL on March 13, 2018 to see Alice Cooper perform with mixed results. We called the facility that day in the afternoon with a question about the time doors would open because it was a little chilly that March day and were told that the doors would be opened at 5:30. We arrived to the doors about 5:00 and began to wait. Security opened the door for a band member around 5:15 and told us that the doors would be open soon. As the crowd began to filter in security stood in the vestibule and watched... Until 6:20 when a member of security came out of to tell us the doors would be opened soon and then tell us what to expect when they did open. At 6:30 they were finally opened and despite being the first TWO in the door security acted like they were put out we were there.. Security and the time the doors opened aside, the TaxSlayer Center knows how to put on a concert! The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful, in fact I don't remember a time where I saw staff so helpful assisting people to there seats. They were asking questions, keeping the aisles clear assured that every person there was having a good time. The TaxSlayer Center is one of the best places within 150 miles of my home, and one of the best in the state. I do love the experiences I have had there!

Went with my sons to shinedown and five finger death punch concert. Good venue, but I gave it 4 stars because it was so hot in there so I felt like they could have had better climate control. And we were up in the upper deck and the seats were covered in dirty dust. Otherwise a good experience.
