I love TDECU. It's been my bank for the longest time because I never doubted their commitment to great customer service. That was until a few days ago when visiting this branch for the first time. I understand they devote much time to each member but the lone teller at the front easily spent 20-30 minutes with one member that I believe could have been better assisted by an employee at a desk. I was the only person in line at first but once the teller finished up, there were at least 5 of us waiting. I am very patient and didn't have a problem with this. I respect that the teller took her time with the member before me because I was hoping to get the same/similar thoughtful treatment. I had a problem once I went up with my reasons for my visit and she was very dismissive. I didn't spend more than 2 minutes with her and her tone of voice was very different from how it was with the previous member. I'm not sure why but it was very disheartening especially because I feel my questions weren't answered clearly in they end, they weren't and I had to call the member services line for assistance because I left with more questions than answers. Prospective and current TDECU members, steer clear of this branch if you're looking for familiar TDECU customer service. I'll stick to the UH location and the West 19th location from now on. If this branch is your last resort, I recommend calling member services instead.
The staff at this location are very unprofessional. They take a long time to help anyone. They all were just standing around talking about what club they were going to. The things they were discussing were distasteful and had nothing to do with helping customers.
Will not return phone calls. Called several times and left messages. Finally contacted someone on 800 number. Poor customer service.
I've banked with TDECU for years and have been to multiple branches. This branch is terrible. On top of the poor ratings of other people, this branch will put a longer hold on any check deposit because they simply don't want to do their job. Other branches, such as the one in Westchase and another off of 99, will act swiftly because they are staffed with good, hard working people.
Is it a bank where you can put your money yes. But also super slow. I don’t know if it’s the employees who are slow or if they just don’t have enough employees.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION !!! Literally the worse TDECU I’ve ever been too! I brag about my bank and how amazing it is ,but this location is by far the WORSE ! Rude teller not helpful whatsoever including whoever is management was beyond unprofessional as well . I do not recommend at all going here . Telling me to call a number when I fully know what I asked for help with they could assist me with but instead they told me to do this . Terrible terrible .
I had the best experience here at TDECU. My agent, Oscar Garcia, went above and beyond in regards of all my questions, concerns, and my banking expectations. Oscar was amazingly efficient, he sent me documents to be e-signed through my email: everything got done very quick and easy! I would completely recommend TDECU to friends and relatives and hopefully they will also have the pleasure of being helped by amazing personnel like Oscar!
Very unprofessional. I come here every month and it’s the same negative attitude. Today, the teller did not make eye contact with me at all, not even when she said next member. And when I try to explain to her what payment I needed to make, she cut me off and said said I gave her the wrong account number. She was just staring at her screen the whole time. So I had to repeat myself and tell her again what account I was working with. When we were done, she wasn’t friendly or asked if there was anything else she could help me with. Not even a thank you. I wish there were other branches open elsewhere because I would make the drive. But, unfortunately I have to come to this branch.
Worst place ever to do banking. #1. Never have more than one cashier available #2. Cash a check they ask you Social Secure Number, 2 ID’s and you still are obligated to create a “Profile” in order to cash your check #3. If you are NOT a customer! Customer Service doesn’t care about you, matter fact I felt bad when I was cashing a 4K check from a customer. They look at you like you are a suspicious! #4. Only one teller to help walk in and drive though. Make sure spare extra time if you wanna cash a check. #5. Do not accept coins? Really? REALLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK AT ALL
it's a bank. they will handle your money and presumably not do a bunch of gambling with it. 10 outta 10. imagine getting mad that an employee didn't go out of their way to lick your shoes and tell you what a good boy you are
