Texaco

I deliver fuel and drive a day cab with a tanker trailer connected, so it's not as long or high as a regular semi truck that you would sleep in. I just stopped there 10 min ago to use the rest room and buy a soda. There was parking across the street, but I haul gasoline. Federal law requires I park so many feet from the roadway. The parking was right along the roadway, so I couldn't park there. I went and parked at the fuel pumps and took up one side of two fuel pumps. The owner comes out and very rudely tells me there's semi truck parking across the street and that I was in the way of his customers getting gas. I was a customer, but I was just in a bigger vehicle taking up one side of two pumps. It would have been no different if I was driving an RV, I would have taken up the same amount of room.There was not a car at any of the pumps pumping fuel, so I was in no way shape or form from blocking any customers. There was at least 10 pumps. The owner was extremely rude, wouldn't let me explain anything and had the attitude that because I drive a truck and he owns a store he is better then me. No one should feel uncomfortable like that and I hope he doesn't treat anyone the way he just treated me.

This was a easy cheap stop for fuel. Very clean restrooms. Gas prices off the highway were still much cheaper than even the best price if California. I would recommend stopping here to stretch your legs, fill up the car and use its services.

Clean restrooms and cheap fuel. Good stop to refuel man and machine.

Clean, friendly, open 24 hours, one of the few places to get gas on I-8 between Yuma and Gila Bend.

In the midst of cow turds and hot barren desert landscapes there's a glimmer of hope on your way to or from California where you can get a tasty date shake (I like mine blended with banana). It's not Disneyland but it's the ONLY way at this point to avoid death by boredom.
