My car (turbo) only takes Super and consistently gets between 17 and 18mpg on road trips. I was averaging a normal 17.2mpg over 150 miles on this particular day (Shell Super) I topped-off with 10.5 gallons of "super" at this Mobil station on 03/17/18 (last gas before CA) and immediately upon pulling back onto the highway my mileage plunged to 14.4mpg. Same driver, direction, road, speed, etc. Mileage did not recover until running the tank nearly dry and refilling with Super at a different station (Costco). I firmly believe that this station is either dispensing regular from the Super pump, or otherwise adulterating the gas. Never again.

It's a gas station but this one did have a Subway connected to it so it was a nice place to stop for a bite to eat on our long journey home.
