The Arboretum

This is a nice, upscale open shopping center. It's been around for over 30 years. Went to Cheesecake Factory and a few other stores on our latest visit. Parking isn't bad (at least it's free). There are also lots of other shopping areas around the Arboretum on Research, but nothing on Capital of Texas.

The Arboretum is a fairly large, outdoor retail shopping area in Austin. I had downloaded a directory map before my visit. Even with that, getting oriented was a challenge at first. Once I found my first store, the rest were easy to find. There are plenty of food choices as well, which made my hike pleasant. There is both indoor and outdoor parking available. The close proximity of the Renaissance Hotel completes the 5 star location. I know that I will return soon and often.

I love the arboretum. It has one of my favorite barnes n nobles (with a game stop and Starbucks in it!) and cheesecake factory. Doing one then the other makes for a great afternoon

A shopping plaza with many top-of-the-line stores and restaurants. The architects have cleverly designed wheelchair access without making it look uncomfortable or difficult for those who are mobile. The park behind the shopping center is wild, the way Texas looked before we fixed it. There's even a small herd of marble cattle. (See picture.) Free parking. Free electric car charging.

A very lovely place! It is almost impossible to find parking. The stores are really friendly and there is a lot of places to walk around and enjoy.
