I love River Center mall, I love its architecture... sitting outside by the river enjoying a drink and some good food.
I especially love the bourbon chicken with some white rice, a beer, and a Mexican Coke.
I'm not much of a drinker but once in awhile one has to let their hair down loosened and enjoy life and since we are all grown adults, we have the privilege & right to drink some alcohol if we please.
The only thing I ask for is please people drink responsibly. Don't drive drunk, choose a designated driver.

Lots of shops to walk through. Did find some different things with good prices. Lots of the restaurants where closed under construction. So go one block over to eat. Would not recommend food court. Shopping was good. If you go outside from there you can get a carriage ride which is very nice.

Born and raised in San Antonio. Have been here many, many times. I try to avoid malls at all costs, however, when one is needed, this is the most convenient for those of us that live off of the Broadway corridor. That is the plus. The major, and I mean major negative, is the cost of the parking. It's always been on the high end, but prices have increased, the cost to park is now $15 for 1 min - 4 hours. So if you're just stopping quickly to pick up something you already know you need, you're still going to pay $15. That is ridiculous. Better off to park along the street on Commerce or Market street. The walk is nice anyway.

Really big, really beautiful, really impressive. This is a good place to go novelty, clothing, or window shopping. In the outdoor portion, they have a long walk along a river that goes on for a mile at least, its lined on both sides with stone architecture and scenic walkways with restaurants built into the walls. You can easily enjoy an entire afternoon there on a stroll without spending much money. People in wheelchairs will find the small walkways difficult to traverse with large crowds. Smoking seems to be allowed on a good portion of the walkway and at most points, you'll smell beer, bbq steak and beer. This is a big event area for holidays where alcoholic beverages are consumed.

Great place to walk around and browse. Pretty setting, charming architecture and lots of different shops if you like to do this kind of thing.
Ride the canal boat to get an idea of how many shops there are to see. I think it would be a big walk to see them all. Way better than a mall!
