The Beauty Lounge

The Beauty Lounge has a very relaxing atmosphere. All of the nail techs and hair stylists make you feel at home. Be prepared to spend a little time there because you will get your moneys worth. They all pay close attention to detail and make sure you are satisfied. Lyn is the owner and has put her whole heart into making this salon the best. It has a classy look with an at home feel. I would highly recommend The Beauty Lounge to anyone.

5 stars! I called an made an appt. even though I was very hesistant. I get a mani or a pedi once a year or less because for me this is a splurge & is for sure a treat to myself. The reason for my hesitation is that the last two attempts at getting a pedicure ended with me leaving the salon before ever sitting down. Why I left those salons? Due to rude & pushy staff that create an environment that is unwelcoming, (especially for a newcomer that is not a regular) unprofessional, & not relaxing in the least. I refuse to pay & splurge on an experience that is stressful & is the opposite of a treat. Finally I decided after nearly another year that I would attempt getting a pedicure for my birthday at another salon. I chose the Beauty Lounge simply for location & because I had passed it on my way to & from work. I showed up for my appt. & was pretty hopeful to find a color I had in mind. Mon is the name of who gave me a pedicure & was so so so wonderful. Not only did she take the time to test out colors with me (because the color I was looking for was proving to be quite difficult to find) but she was genuinely understanding & actually wanted to help me find what I was looking for or help me discover an alternative that I was happy with. I explained to her that me getting my toes done is really rare so that’s even more of why I wanted to walk away with a color that I was excited about & happy with. Mon was so fun to be around & made me not feel stressed. She made me actually enjoy the process & relax. I know I took a while to find a color & I know that most people would not take that long. However Mon made me feel completley at ease about it & instead of pushing me to get a color & making me feel bad about it she did the opposite! She gave an amazing & beautiful pedicure. Most of all I love the color & am so happy with the experience I had. Mon thank you again, your so beautiful inside & out! I will def be coming back here the next time I get a mani/ pedi!! Outstanding experience!

Save yourself both money and disappointment by staying away from Mandy (Amanda), especially if you are interested in the balayage technique. My daughter has seen her a few times, with mediocre results and always a less than friendly demeanor. Unfortunately, it was my daughter's most recent experience that convinced us it was time to find another hair stylist. Less than 2 weeks after getting balayage, we noticed that my daughter's hair was significantly less blonde - it seemed to take on a darker, caramel color. Upon contacting Mandy to find out what might have caused it, she blamed my daughter and refused to fix it or refund us. Mandy is impersonal, rude, delivers average results, and was highly unprofessional in her treatment of my daughter. Customer service is NOT her priority.

The customer service was amazing and the decor is so cute. I will definitely be back I love my nails!

Didn't even have the chance to get my service done becasue the staff can't correctly run and book appointments accordingly. I called a week in advanced to get 4 blowouts scheduled for a Saturday (the 14th). Lady on the phone told me 2 will go at 8:45 and two will go as soon as one of us gets finished. I walked in at 8:40 that morning Saturday and the lady behind the desk is confused when I tell her I had appointments set for 8:45. She then tells me the stylist doesn't even come in till 9:00. After obviously not being happy she tells me two of us can go at 9:00 yet one of the stylist doing us had to cancel on another appt of hers in person to this lady because of being overbooked. Lady behind the desk told me they would only be able to do 3 no matter what so one person ended up having to leave without service. After all 3 of us were done the stylist says to one of us, "Oh we could have done the fourth person the person behind the desk was just looking at the wrong date and was a little confused." Highly don't recomenned this place, I was so excited to try it out. The fourth person ended up going to Hair 5 O to get their hair washed/round brushed and it embarrassingly looked 10x better then all 3 blowouts. So dissapointed.
