The Boat House of Lauderdale Lakes

Given the challenges with the weather and volume of boats that go out, the customer service is exceptional. The owners are available and active in the management of some super great employees who care about their customers. Feel very fortunate as they are the only outfit on the lake. In addition, they have stores across the country so you get the benefit of huge shop pricing in a small and quaint operation at the local level.

Great service all year I have them do my winterizing, repairs and storage. They have been the only marina that I use and when the day comes for me to buy a new boat I will buy from them. I refer all my friends to the Boathouse. Great job !!!!

Stay away from here. Round 1: I told them my boat and engine size and asked for a oil filter. Drove 25 minutes home, and it’s the wrong filter. So I go back and get the right filter of course with no apology and a slightly more expensive product. Round 2: since I am there, I should get a new impeller. Another simple item to purchase from people who sell boat parts for a living. I install the impeller and run the boat 2 quick trips. On the third trip smoke is coming from my engine and I can smell burning. We stop and open the engine to see the engine insanely hot, tubes starting to melt, and the plastic cover over the carb curling up in the heat. I put the old impeller back in and it works fine. The “boathouse” literally almost costed me $6000+ On my Supra which has a 5.7 pcm engine. I would never recommend anyone to work with them when they can’t sell simple things that almost ruin your boat.
