We enjoy the Boathouse. It's fun, informal, and great atmosphere on the water. Small menu but excellent food & beer. A fun place to eat after a day on Hayden Lake.

It was a very pleasant visit due to the location and the food. I do have to comment though, that the service- personal had no "Gastronomic Training" nor were they given any guidelines how to positively engage in a customer - business relationship in order to create an outstanding experience for the guest. This is the sole responsibility of the owner or management, and of course only if they care and therefore no fault to any of the young ladies that were serving the tables. It is an absolute shame that many of the restaurants in the US are plaqued with this very same issue. Such easy problems to solve and so little heart to make a difference and be not part of the "Norm".
