The Common Man

Reliable and friendly. Food is pretty good, 3-4 out of 5 depending on what you order. Free cheese, crackers, and roles. Decent drink selection. 603 makes a great Common Man IPA just for them. During our most recent visit, our server Mike was attentive and charismatic. He made us feel at home. Scott, the service manager on duty, came by to ensure we enjoyed our meal and shared the haunted history of the Common Man building. Chocolate dessert with the bill. You just can’t go wrong with Common Man.

Great atmosphere! Had the lobster corn chowder...DELISH!!! Enjoyed the chicken and sausage pasta dish. An added bonus was we went in a Wednesday evening. Half price bottles of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed the house Cabernet....$11/bottle!!!!

Not crazy about the menu choices here but the environment and staff was great. I had a grilled chicken sandwich which was delicious, another member of my party enjoyed their pot roast. The kids pasta with no sauce had a ton of butter, will order it on the side next time. Service was fast and they offer a cheese and crackers bar as well.

Our second visit here and as good as the first visit if not better. Warm and cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Cheese station on both the 1st and 2nd floors, with homemade dips, sliced cheese, and crackers. Lobster and corn chowder had large hunks of lobster. Grilled chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and the bbq sauce was definitely homemade. Finally, the pot roast with scratch mashed potatoes. We loved this dish so much the first time, we just knew we had to have it again. Better than home cooking. Of you like white chocolate, they make their own and offer free samples with the check.

They have escargot and Earl Grey on their regular menu. And it is very good. They have won my heart forever. Well, at least until they change their menu. My personal proclivities aside, it's a great restaurant. The atmosphere is unique and inviting; warm, homey and comforting. The servers are always friendly and warm. Their menu is well thought-out and executed with reliable high quality.
