The Cosmetics Company

I always loved this store. Ever since I discovered it, I bought my Clinique and Estée Lauder Cosmetic not for full price in department stores anymore. Here the very same products are sometimes about half of what you would pay somewhere else. They just don’t always have everything. So you might have to come again and again. Last time they didnt have a certain anti aging Creme from Estée Lauder and I asked the sales lady for an alternative. She recommended - what I discovered only at home because the print was so small and I couldn’t read it- a sunscreen cream. Next day I came back to exchange that sunscreen . They refused the exchange because it was a sale. They would not consider that I had not opened the cream nor that I am a loyal customer for many years and that the sales person had made a mistake. I am very disappointed. Poor customer service and poor product knowledge. Summary: great store and concept - but beware what you buy, don’t rely on the staff, and know, they won’t exchange.

Horrible!!!! Paid in cash for a purchase. My total was $52.50. I gave the cashier Nana $100 at first, then stopped her and added $2.50 and said,"Even $50 in change." My daughter distracted me for a second and I didn't get my change. The cashier never said anything either. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced and noticed I didn't have my $50 in change in my wallet. I went to the store immediately and explained the situation to Kiersten who seemed to be in charge and she gave me the run around. She appeared to count down the register and claimed there wasn't a $50 variance. I checked my receipt and noticed my transaction was rang up as being paid $52.50 exactly which wasn't correct. My $100 bill was the only $100 bill in the register when it was counted down. Supposedly a manager will call me tomorrow. I'm sure my $50 is in Nana's pocket!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I'd even bet my lost $50 that it isn't recovered and I'm screwed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
