We took the family platter. What a good bang for your buck! We were 6 people and there was quite enough for us all. The staff is really friendly. While we were waiting for our order, the lady behind the counter made us taste their chicken brochettes. Guess we will be having that next time! AMAZING!

I've been going to the garlic king since their humble beginning, approx 20 years ago. Their shawarma has been consistently the best in the city the entire time. Their quality has remained top notch and that's why I have remained a loyal customer for all these years. The garlic is superior and all the ingredients are super fresh. The king hand picks all his produce to ensure he gets his customers the best product. How many places can you say still do that? To the person who said that the staff were rude and refused to add more garlic without charging extra. I'm sorry, I just can't believe you. Like I've said, I've been going here consistently for 20 years and have never had any kind of issue like that. I love loads of garlic and have never once been asked for more money. I can only come to the conclusion that you were being unreasonable in your request.

This is our favourite place to grab shawarma, the spicy chick pea salads, the made daily garlic potatoes, the chicken is always moist and seasoned to perfection! All the food is always so fresh tasting! Great for families or just popping in for a bite. The best garlic sauce in Ottawa! Thank you Adel for always treating us like family!

Excellent food and amazing service!!! The owner is very funny, I was delighted with his generosity. We got a free sample of king fries, must try!!! My boyfriend and I had the best dinner! Would recommend to anybody.

Love this family run restaurant !! Best sides , very fresh only garlic I’ll eat and the secret sauce is is my favourite . Consistency is key hear , Adel the “garlic king “ is passionate to make sure the best goes into every dish!! I’ve been a customer since 2000!! Lol Nothing has changed and if I eat Lebanese somewhere else it’s because the garlic king is closed or I’m out of town. Never have I had something meet the quality here!!
