The Lebanese Palace

Food tastes good. Portions are average 2 below average. They fill up the plates with lettuce and then puts an average portion of meat on it. Could improve in that area. We ordered a to-go platter and they just plop all the sauces on the cover and closed it up. When we opened it it was quite the mess May well have just threw it all in a bowl and mix it up. Really need to improve in this area for presentation. When we opened up the container it was quite messy and unpleasant to look at

I had heard good things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. There are two parts to the restaurant; a sit down dining room, and a take out counter (with seating) for lunch. I found the entire restaurant somewhat unclean, but I have very high cleanliness standards. As for the food, I would classify this as mediocre. The garlic sauce was fairly anemic, the hummus was not all the flavorful, and the potatoes were a little soggy. More concerning, some of the chicken on the platter (I had a mixed platter) was undercooked. There were pieces of chicken I pushed aside for safety's sake. On top of all this, later that evening I developed stomach pains and explosive diarrhea. Not sure if it is related, but I won't be chancing it again.

Good shawarma chicken and ingredients. Garlic sauce lovers might come away disappointed. The sauce is mild and weak but not bad in any way. Old guy behind the counter seems annoyed when you ask for more garlic sauce. I asked for more spicy garlic on my potatoes and he gave me a dollop of regular. You'd think the bright colour of the spicy sauce would of been self explanatory. Aside from these two issues it's a good spot.

Very nice place for open buffet or chosse from menu. Nice seating area and clean. Very good customer service. Food is delicious.

This place has two sides... informal / take out and a more formal side with table service. I ate on the informal side. This review is for that experience. Service and food were good, and the space was clean.
