The Grotto Pizzeria & Ristorante

Veggie Slice -$6 A little on the expensive side based on price and size but it’s so delicious. The veggies tasted so good, I wonder what they put on them. One of the best pizzas in NYC. Can’t wait to try more pizzas from Grotto. I went back from more, I got the grandma and eggplant slice. Both were delicious. Can’t wait to try even more.

Pretty good cheese pizza. They still have the Tuesday special 2 cheese slices & a fountain drink for $6.50 cash, if using credit card $6.76. Their fountain drinks are weird. The fanta one spat out a bit of thick syrup, and the sprite doesn’t taste normal. They don’t provide napkins when giving me my order, or tell me where the cap and straw would be. It’s an underground pizza spot, indoor eating area is small, creative but tight still. Great place for pizza grab and go. They offer specialty pizza, sandwiches and salads.

Great pizza place for a slice and a drink. Wide selection and quick service with a small eat-in area at the back - free additional seasonings at no extra charge. Huge portions and very tasty indeed. Great value as well - best pizza I've had in a while.Food: 5/5

Looking for authentic New York pie!!! This is the spot. Tried 5 other highly recommended places and this one was the best hidden gem off the beaten path. If you've tried Joey's in times square you'd shoot yourself for not going here first. Especially cozy spot for 2.

Honey Mustard Chicken pizza is delicious. Friendly staff and wifi. Also great gluten free pizza. Generous toppings

I love this place with every meaning of love, and I advise anyone who looking for pizza, just go to the Grotto Pizzeria, they make amazing pizzas with good seating for you. Also, they have some different menus, go to their website and look at them. If this is you're first time, I wish you go by yourself and see everything I said, I don't think that you'll order next time but you'll go there!!!! Great job for the Grotto Pizzeria. Best Pizzeria

We got a personal pizza which we shared for two, an order of calamari, and an order of spaghetti with a butter sauce. Everything was delicious. The staff were great!! The next time we're back in NYC will definitely go back.

Speakeasy entrance. Lots of signage for cash only but thats a tuesday only promotion - they take card. Theres sneaky seating in the back thats easy to miss. The regular slice didnt have the crisp i like. The Sicilian looked like it was going to be soggy and bready - but it was actually better than i thought. The garlic knots looked huge but i opted for the zeppoles because you dont often see that stuff. They were okay, probably wont get them again. But they gave me a ton for i think only $3. Good for a group

Friendly folks serving an authentic NY slice - big & foldable with excellent red sauce & variety of fresh toppings to choose from. Delicious gluten free crust option also. Excellent green salad with strawberries, goat cheese & balsamic dressing. Homey, hole in the wall.

The customer service on the phone isn't as warm and friendly to my liking nor was I fond of the Jamaican beef patty. The beef patty was burned and the edges were hard to chew. But, the grilled chicken rigatoni and sausage penne was outstanding !! Very filling and delicious!! I will try them again when I'm in the area.
