The Habit Burger Grill

This is a good place to get a decent sized burger. They have several different options on the menu. Modern burger joint with homemade French fries, onion rings and sweet potatoes fries. Different options to choose from too, like ahi tuna and fried chicken sandwich. For two people it costs around $27 dollars. That's for a double char, char, fries, onion rings and two drinks. It was worth the money. Vegetarian options: Have an impossible burger made for vegetarian.

First time here and the food was great. The burgers were smaller than I had expected but it was flavorful and filling. I forgot to take a picture but I'll definitely be returning

I was craving the yummy Santa Barbara Char after a long day at work, I so decided to drive out of my way to this Habit was the closest. I found it strange that it was empty and not a single car in line, but considered myself lucky at this point!!! I pulled up to the window, paid for my meal and waited.. and waited… and waited some more! I was thinking “ why is it taking so long, no one is here” then I just looked at the bright side that at least it would be fresh. I noticed a young lady throwing some grayish brown rubbery looking meat I’m guessing onto what I assumed to be the grill. Against my better judgment, I ignored the glaring sign and nagging inner voice to just cancel my order and drive quickly away. I was too committed, I already invested 10+ minutes and over 10 miles. I finally get my food and drive off. After about 5 mins and a few fries, I could no longer wait to get home to sink my teeth into one of my favorite burgers. I took a bite and almost immediately realized the texture was off. I took another bite and it was very soggy! I turned on the light in my truck and was shocked to see this under cooked poor excuse for a $9 burger patty staring back at me. How could they not cook it completely when no one was there and I waited over 10 minutes? What were they doing? The patty isn’t even thick!! I then put the pieces together and realized why there was no one there in the drive thru. I was disgusted and turned the truck around to go back and let the manager see what they were serving. I walked up to the counter and asked for the manager. She walked right up completely annoyed and just picked it up and threw it in the trash. No questions asked! Like this is the norm.. I realized that she was the person I mentioned earlier that was struggling to toss the grayish meat on the grill. She came from that area and was still wearing what appeared to be the same gloves. She dug into the cash register and gave me a refund. I’m sure the money she handed to me is contaminated with raw meat residue because she did NOT change or remove her gloves. I told her I really hope I don’t get sick. She just looked past me… She handed me the money, no apology, no explanation. She might as well have told me to go f$&@ myself. I asked for a business card for the corporate office and she said I can Google the info. It’s online. I think she may have single handily broke this #Habit of mine! You’re welcome

Pleasant experience, employees were incredibly professional & were serious about their job at the same time talking with each other & enjoying each other's company. Oh yeah, the burger & fries were absolute perfection

Were wanted a good tasting burger, so we decided to come to the habit. Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Avacado burgers were fire!! Al in all it was another great experience here..cant wait to come back again

This is my first time visiting. I tried the Ahi tuna sandwich and tempura green beans. That was awesome. The food was fresh. The people were professional. The service was fast considering is made to order. I am very pleased and I will return

I know things are tight for businesses but they ate for people as well.. portions are down. Maybe I ordered the 'wrong' thing the seasonal special but are $14 for what looks like less than a 1/4 burger fries and a drink... I felt duped. I can walk 2 min to Canes and get a sandwich like 3 times this, fries and a drink for $10. Its not just the cost its about the value. It has good reviews im assuming I am missing somethinglike a popular go to . I can't afford to come back and find out what that is. Dietary restrictions: They have beyond
