The Italian Underground Restaurant

Celebrating our 10 year anniversary, we were looking for a romantic restaurant. This was not so much romantic but was cozy and nice. I have a severe allergy to alcohol (sulfates), but since we were celebrating I wanted to at least drink a glass of wine. PEGGY suggested an organic wine and let me have a tiny sip before ordering. The wine was very good, I was able to Drink it with no issues. The food was 😋 delicious. I was impressed with the way the staff worked quickly together to reset tables. One picked up. One wiped. Others put menus and water to reset. Awesome team work and positive staff!! Thank you for making our evening great!!! Can't wait to visit again.

Awesome food. We couldn’t dine here. So we ordered for take out. Food was ready in 20 mins. Both the pizza and pasta were good. It was a Saturday night. So there was a long line outside. I would highly recommend making a reservation.

This place was so good. The service was great. The bread they give you is warm and delicious. It's pretty packed there so get there early. Not sure if they do reservations. All of their pasta and pizza dishes looked great. I had the spinach and shrimp dish and I loved it so much I wanted more bread to soak it up! Reasonably priced as well.

Good food, great service. A unique place to visit if you're traveling. We waited about 10 minutes on a Monday evening, it is a busy place so I can imagine longer wait times on the weekends. Really good for a casual date or group of friends with time to spare. Our kids enjoyed it but I'm not sure I would endure the wait on a weekend with kids.

I loved their ambience, the restaurant is underground and has a unique character to it. The inside is just so cozy and smells divine. This is by far the only place I have enjoyed in glenwood. There's a lot of vegetarian options too.
