Vendetta's Restaurant

Fun Italian restaurant in Vail Village. They were on their off-season menu, so fewer choices, I guess. Service was excellent and friendly. Our server was attentive even though the place was packed. I had the stuffed shells and the top of each shell was exposed to the oven heat, leaving that part of the pasta dry and tough. The meatball and remainder of the shells were excellent. Thus only 4 stars for a really enjoyable dining experience.

Wholly mackerel this food is tremendous! The chick marsala is off menu, but when they offer it you are going to have your mind blown! They did make it for me a second time upon request, so that just compliments their outstanding customer service! The pizzas are amazing too. I didn't have a bad experience the whole week I ate here. Craft beer, great service, and food...I think I found Heaven in Vail, CO?!

Food was good, large Italian menu and pizzas to choose from. Can get pizza by the slice for 12” or 18”! Great place to go for lunch to grab some pizza and beer. Service was just fine, I wouldn’t say they are rude but they get your order and get out and check on you once or twice. For this type of place, it’s perfect.

Food was tasty, but the overall experience was meh. We went during lunch time, on a Sunday... It was busy, which is understandable, but the waitress was scarce and we waited to pay for 10 minutes. It was also football season, and the game was on, with a loud speaker right above the table. Which would be great if we were sports fans, but we aren't, and if we knew it had a sports bar feel, we would have gone somewhere else. The food was tasty with good portions and it was served hot. This would probably be a good place not on the weekend.

The Food: Our much anticipated pizza arrived over cooked but cold too! The Staff: About 1/2 of the staff is pretty cold and upset at something or someone. They seem perpetually miserable along with an inflated ego. I loved coming to Vail and Vendettas with friends and family now for 15 consecutive years, but the last 3 years have been tainted thus having us leave with regret and utter disappointment.
