Awesome place, very clean, very Vermont. Amazing beer selection, great food. Most importantly super friendly service. Highly recommended.
Came in to a sign that said "seat yourself". We waited about 10 minutes then found a menu ourselves. We looked it over and decided what we wanted. Waited another 10 or so minutes. When nobody came by I got up to ask the bartender if the kitchen was open. He indicated with his head "no" and walked away. I can't speak about the food but I can say their communication with customers sitting in the "seat yourself" dining area was not good at all. Rebuttal: We went there because of the reviews. The sign outside says "Bar and Grill". There was no sign on the table stating anything about ordering at the bar. After driving from Elmira, we were really looking forward to a good meal. I, to, am sorry to leave that review, but as someone that owned a restaurant for 7 seven years, I respected criticism and always tried to improve based on that feedback.
Had a great time. Phil ABAIR Band always great. Food was good for bar food. Service was great, food came fast, got us other things we asked for. 5 stars for the cook and server, he was great. The guy who cleared the table was great. Only wish they had waiters or waitresses. I think It would add to the coffers. Keep up the good work.Food: 3/5
Great bar and atmosphere, great bar food. Friends and I went on a night a band called "Mirage" was playing, and they absolutely killed it! I kept getting distracted by how good the live music actually was, appetizers were great, and all in all an amazing spot with reasonable prices, which feels rare in the area.
I got the "old post burger" with a Guinness. It was great, and quick too. Cost me about $20, seemed worth it. Also there was a guy from Wyoming with boots and spurs in there. 10/10. I wonder how long dude was on Google maps looking for a western themed bar in vt
Had the Im"post"able burger with fries. Pretty good. Fair selection of drinks but it did feel like we were getting rushed out a bit and it was only around 6pm Vegetarian options: Impossible burger was offered for a vegan option with side of fries. Not sure anything else would have been suitable for vegans
Best place in Burlington to eat and relax. Outside patio is great in the summer! Make sure you ORDER YOUR FOOD AT THE BAR! just like the sign on every table says Kid-friendliness: I don’t care for kids but they’ve all been pretty well behaved here Parking: Plenty of parking, easy access
From the outside this just looks like any other bar, and the interior does nothing to dispel this. However the lady behind the bar was very friendly and helpful providing the jug of water we desperately needed after a bike ride. The food was also much better than typical bar food. My wife tucked into her caeser salad with gusto and the burgers and fries or onion rings were equally good. Although I did not sample or count them I was impressed to see they had about 20 plus beers on tap. The music was pleasant and not too loud, allowing for easy conversation. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Random chance brought us to the Old Post, but I am glad it did. Parking: Ample parking
This place was SO tasty. I had the wings and my husband had a burger. Everything was cooked at the moment and the portion was big. I was craving wings and this place hit the spot. The mango habanero and garlic chili sauce was awesome. The staff was super nice too. Recommend
Place was nice, food was good. Live music was dope. And staff was friendly. However, the wait was Abit longer than expected. Seemed Abit unprepared for the amount of people that came in. Could have been a one off. Four banger for me. Would recommend.
