The Shark on the Harbor Restaurant

Can't say enough good things about this place. Always inventive, local, and delicious food. Great service. They give you an amuse-bouche before your order comes that is always fabulous and makes you excited for the meal. It is a very low-key, friendly kind of atmosphere for such a sophisticated menu. I just love it. Go, you gotta try it!!

Location: Excellent with great view it is right on the harbor so you can look at the water and the boat. Service: Great. Felt like a family operated business. Server was caring and attentive. Athmosphare: Casual. People seemed to be enjoying the meal and the bar. Mostly older people. Food: outstanding. I loved the brunch. It was well prepared and fresh ingredient. The menu also suggests where the food is from.

Our bartender, Ray, was awesome! He was friendly and a vast amount of information about the surrounding area even for our off-season visit. Visited on a snowy day and started with lamb stew, which was to die for. Ray suggested the crab cakes and the steamed shrimp. Of course, we took his menu suggestions. Crab cakes were around 5oz with 90:10 ratio of lump meat to filling. Perfectly paired with the steamed shrimp for happy hour, our meals were like heaven on a plate. Would highly recommend if visiting the area for a classic seafood meal in Maryland. P.s. the sauce from the shrimp could be sold separately, it was so tasty! Jake and Kevin

The restaurant was great! Eric was our server and he made our dining experience even better. I ordered the tuna without knowing that it would come seared (raw) and Eric was very understanding about it and asked he chef to cook the tuna for me. I really appreciate the customer service and not to mention that the food is very unique and delicious!!

We love The Shark. Always a great experience. Excellent clean food. Excellent service. There is a nice view of the harbor. They have lunch specials as well. We can't wait to go back.
