Skipper's Pier Restaurant & Dock Bar

So we came here for lunch . My uncle had been coming here for many years this was my first time . I had the raw oysters, and boy were they really good. Not slimy at all super tasty, not big but the flavor was on point. We both had the crab cake sandwich and that was super yummy buddy wow. Not to much filler 95% lump cram meat the bun was lightly toasted . A pickle wedge and fries. Well seasoned dish for sure. The price was not to bad either. Part 2 .... 1week later So we meet the owner today super super nice guy , Karen our server was wonderful as too was Patrick the folks here treat you like family 100% I had the pleasure of bringing my wife today she had the crab legs and man she was happy you need to come here you won't regret it one bit

One of the best seafood restaurants in my book. I always get the "Taste of Bay Trio" and hits the spot all the time. It has oysters, crab cake, and rockfish all served with an Old Bay wine butter sauce. You'll see a lot of locals dining there. It is a casual sit down restaurant, great for families as well. They have a sandbox and playground in front. It is priced well compared to other seafood places especially for the quality of seafood that they serve.

Service was horrible. Server never came back and asked if we would like refills on our drinks. Appetizers and main course all came out together. I will go back because the food is very good but will watch and make sure I do not get the same waiter

Very poor service from waitress, it left us wishing we had the helpful attentive staff behind us. Flounder tasteless, needed to request tartar sauce 3 times before receiving it , just to be edible. Only saving grace was the peel n eat shrimp appetizer which arrived together with the soup, salad and entree’s. Waitress never told us about specials either.

The bloody Mary's are to die for, and so is the food. Definitely a tourist attraction for those who are from out of town to get the full Maryland experience. Rockfish is on the menu along with crabs. The other drinks Skippers makes are also very good. A little pricey but the location makes up for it.
