Maryland's Fresh Seafood

Went today to get my husband lunch. I ordered crab cake sandwich. I got it fried so it hopefully wouldn't take long. Well it was 40 minutes later that I got it. I could understand if they were busy and if it was lunch time but that was not the case. Everyone who ordered after me was being called even phone in orders. The guy who took my order went into the kitchen 15 minutes after I ordered and kept looking at me knowing I was getting mad. Another guy showed up and apologized because he knew also that I waited to long and blamed kitchen. I'm not sure if I will go back. My husband liked sandwich but guess my advice would be call in advance and hope it will be ready by the time you get there!

The crab legs are always on point. The crabs are good but they've prepared better. I will ask that they make sure crabs are steamed until they are cooked well. They prepare a good fried calamari as well.

I tend to trust the ratings and did this time only to be highly disappointed. The shrimp are pre breaded and the same as those from a Chinese carryout! The jumbo lump crab cake does have jumbo lump meat but other filler as well, quite disappointing. The fries were cold and this was in the parking lot right outside. Sad to say the best thing was the hush puppies. I expected more and really wanted to like this place.
