Stanford Grill

My whole family enjoyed our dinner. The waiter treated my 2 kids as special young adults, which they loved. He was accommodating of their less refined palates, making sure they too had the perfect meal. In passing, we mentioned that we were making up for a belated birthday celebration and they surprised us with dessert at the end. Not only dessert, buy dessert to-go as he'd been paying attention to all of our conversation and knew we had another activity to get to. Food was great, ambiance was efficient and relaxing (seated by glowing fire in the wall), and service & attention to detail couldn't be better! Can't wait to visit again

I visited Stanford Grill for the first time today with my father and grandmother. The restaurant was busy at lunchtime but we were seated immediately. Daniel was our server and he was one of the best servers I've ever had. He was professional, charismatic, and attentive. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. I highly recommend visiting Stanford Grill.

I am very late posting this review but better late then never. I took a trip to Columbia with my parents October 2017. I seen the reviews here and decided to check out the place. The Food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was top notch. I didn't realize the atmosphere was semi formal (lots of well dressed business type clientele) so my father and myself felt slightly out of place as we casually dressed. However, neither the staff or clientele seemed to care. I was amazed and thankful that they made accommodations for my mother's service dog. Prices were fair for the quality of the food and the excellent service. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a romantic dinner, a business dinner or a semi formal group dinner. They also had someone playing live cello at the entrance which surprised me but was nice. If you want to eat on the patio make sure you reserve the patio well in advance. We asked for the patio but when we arrived they advised us that a large party was using the entire patio. Thank You Stanford Grill and Staff, you made my vacation extra special.

This is my favorite restaurant in Columbia. It's a big, beautiful restaurant with a fireplace in the dining room and a large bar where you can drink, dine, and listen to evening jazz. I appreciate an upscale, classy bar. And this it is. They have a great drink menu, knowledgeable bartenders, and you can dine at the bar. It is upscale but not snobby. I've been there on my own and have yet to not strike up a conversation with other patrons. The menu is extensive, the calamari is fantastic, and the steaks are outstanding.

Can't say enough. This is our go-to place for prime rib or hamburgers. There house salad has an amazing house dressing and you always get a good amount of food. It is pricey but worth it for the quality. You can bring kids but it is more an adult atmosphere with an adjacent bar and they play live classical or jazz.
