City Cafe

Fantastic lunch date with one of my faves! This was a birthday lunch and provided by one of my favorite people and I'm so glad he chose this place! I haven't been here in quite some time! The last time I came which was almost 10 years ago, the menu was very limited and I disliked everything! Today I can say it was a completely different experience! We were assisted by a gentleman named Kevin who was so attentive, efficient, and had a great personality! I ordered Fried Chicken & Biscuits (poached eggs, county, county ham biscuits gravy, hot sauce, potatoes). It was a great decision on my part! The inside was beautiful, but we opted to sit outside because it was a fantastic day. Parking around there is pretty good especially on the weekend. It's paid street parking but it's directly out front. Even if you park a little further, the walk is so short that you won't even notice. I am definitely looking forward to returning back sooner than later and try some other menu items as well as getting another experience with that great customer service provided!

Went here for brunch on a Saturday morning. We were seated upstairs and the lighting was very dim, which was disappointing because it was a nice day out and it was bright and sunny in the downstairs seating. Our waitress was very nice and efficient! We ordered berries and cream as a starter and it was a very tiny amount of fruit for the price. But, the drinks and entrees were good, I got the salmon benedict and the portions for that were very generous. Would probably come again for brunch but ask to be seated downstairs.

Fantastic place for brunch. The decor and atmosphere is great. The staff was attentive and friendly. I ate the Blackened salmon B.A.L.T with sweet potato fries. It was amazing and well presented. I recommend it.

Excellent experience! Kerry gav awesome personable service! Food was just absolutely delicious! We came with a party of 10 and received separate checking. Paying was not compiciated and the manager came over several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves!! Just amazingly awesome experience!!

Met up with a friend for a quick dinner. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered an appetizer - the seared tuna. Very delicious and prepared perfectly. The focaccia they brought us as a pre-appetizer was very good. The atmosphere was relaxing (except for a couple literally climbing on top of each other at the back of the restaurant), but it wasn't very crowded while we were there. The table we were seated at was a little tight, and my chair was actually touching the patron's chair behind me. The service was average. There were a few times during our stay that it actually felt that the waitress was getting annoyed by us, especially when we asked if we could split the check unevenly. I probably will go back at some point, but I'm not in a rush to right now.
