Woodberry Kitchen

I was pleasantly surprised. R. House is the mall food court without the mall and superior selections. I think most people will find something tasty on the menus of the various food stands. There is a bar inside the food court area and sometimes live music. The staff I encountered were all pleasant. They have bar height and standard tables, booths and sofas. They have social media so you can check them out for music acts and pop up vendors. This place is large but it filled quickly. There is self seating; so, claim your seat and then get your food and drinks. Bartender and wait staff Garret was very pleasant and down to earth. My group appreciated his professionalism but with personality. I will definitely go back again.

This is an old yet hip beautiful factory style restaurant with an outdoor patio that’s unquestionably worth visiting. There’s so much to like about them, from their stunning ambiance, constantly changing yet exciting menu, and impeccable service. I have heard a lot of about this place from my co-workers and friends, so I decided to dine at Woodberry Kitchen a few day ago. I tried their MD Crab & Corn Hush Puppies (appetizer) and Cast Iron Chicken & Biscuit (Supper) during my visit. I must say that I truly enjoyed my meal. The chicken was moist and very flavorful, and the hush puppies are delicious. The meal was very satisfying and well presented. The restrooms (co-ed) were very clean and nicely decorated to accommodate their guest. Their indoor seating area is also very cozy and well decorated. Unfortunately, I don't believe this location is wheelchair accessible. In addition, there are not a lot street parking, however, the restaurant makes up for it by offering FREE valet parking. Which make this place is awesome and very convenient for their guest. I recommend this place when visiting the Woodberry areas. I certainly plan to return in the summer to try their summer menu.

Charming perfection. Enchanting atmosphere. The food was extraordinary, not just the quality but the pairings and presentation exceeded all expectations. Reservation suggested if you want to sit outside. Hannah at the bar took outstanding care of us. This was not dinner, it was a culinary experience in every form.

The food and atmosphere were both great. Its a small place with lots of character and intensely bold flavored food where you get what is advertised. Our soft scrambled eggs were indeed soft scrambled and we enjoyed our childhood favorite meat "scrabble" cooked to perfection. Our server Heather was fantastic. Definitely coming back on our visit.

Truly a golden gem of a restaurant tucked away in a little town. Awesome signature drinks created daily using mostly local Liquors. We decided to try several of their small plates instead of just one dinner and everything we had was impressive. We had a reservation and noticed that they filled up rather quickly after 6 p.m. Waitstaff is right on point
