The Inn At Pirates Cove, Restaurant and Dock Bar

My two-star review was blocked. Very bad service but worse to block a less than favorable review!!! I only saw favorable recent reviews when I went back on website!!

Excellent fish and chips. Wonderful atmosphere. I usually arrive by boat.

Went today and had an awful experience. Ordered a medium steak and side salad. The salad came out and the entree followed just a few minutes later forcing us to rush through the salad. The steak was overdone and I asked it to be taken back. The waiter returned a bit later with the same steak cut open to reveal a bit of pink declaring it to be medium. Another person at our table ordered a seafood casserole only to be given bits of seafood with potato in a small dish in a pool of melted butter. On leaving we mentioned the poor service and food and were told the restaurant is under new management. That's unfortunate. The waitstaff isn't trained and the cooks (i.e. not chefs) are below par and disregard complaints. The waiter was polite but wouldn't acknowledge any lack of service. This used to be a nice place with good food and atmosphere. I can't see going out of my way to come here again.
