Jerry's Place

Jerry's Place is a staple of Calvert County and Maryland in my opinion. After visiting about four to five times, I can honestly say my experience each time has been above the normal dining experience. Jerry, Jerry Jr, and the entire staff are very hospitable and make you feel at home the moment you walk into the door. They also offer samples of their latest dishes and a sampling of some of their food to those who are new to the restaurant. Some say that the prices are a little high for the food, but each meal I have ordered has been of highest quality seafood and well worth what I paid. In addition, my meals have also been served in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place if you have visitors from out of town or if you're celebrating something special. Jerry's picks a few good seafood dishes and does them well. There are seasonal specials as well. This review may seem too good to be true, but you have to go there and find out for yourself!

Friendly service from an owner and staff that seem to care about you. Delicious food. Comfortable atmosphere. A bit expensive, but that hasn't deterred me from visiting multiple times. I always take family here when they visit from out of town.

Amazing food. Samples given out when you sit down so you can try some of their signature selections before you make your decision. The menu is small but everything on it is amazing. Nightly specials of whatevrer fresh seafood is available. Crab cakes made with all lump meat and no filler. Haddock bites that are the freshest and tastiest I have ever had. The owner even comes out to talk to the patrons and ensure the food is made to the highest quality. Which it was. Come hungry, you won't be disappointed.
