Face masks are not required in schools, public transit etc. Yet this is the only UPS store that continues to insist on harassing and forcing masks on people who are in store for less than a minute to scan an Amazon return. Get with the times and stop pushing your views onto others. If you want your staff to wear mask fine.
It is unbelievable that this is the only establishment in Hoboken and possibly the country that still makes it underpaid and overworked staff wear masks. How out of touch do you have to force your team to wear masks at this point and ask your customer to and then mistreat them when they don't? This establishment is a disgrace; what they do to their employees and customers is shameful.
This is exclusively for the manager working on Thursday June 16th between. 4 and 5 pm. I waited to speak to him as he was attending a customer, I spoke in a reasonable tone of voice about their 10 dollar purchase minimum, to which he stated he could do that and literally walked away from me. I had a 30 second dialogue with his back before he sarcastically wished me a blessed day. I reiterated that I was speaking with him reasonably and that he needs to learn the basics of not just customer service but human interaction. It's a poor president that any leader is going to walk away from a customer to signal the end of a discussion. It's appalling and I'm glad the staff has good enough sense to not follow a horrific example of how to speak to another person.
Owner was not very kind or respectful. Charging $6 for a tiny piece of tape and being rude about it. I would go to another UPS with better customer service.
Go to FedEx or anywhere but this UPS store. I shipped a package express, which you know isn’t cheap and they tried 1 attempt to the recipient and sent it back. What happened to 3 attempts? I called customer service no one would help redirect the package back. I went to the store and received zero help. The store called me when the pack came back and I asked them for a refund since they didn’t fulfill on the service but they said they did their part... lies! I will be disputing the charge. Oh and the package came back torn up... I wouldn’t trust ups with any of my packages anymore.. especially with this unhelpful store which is a shame because I’m been shipping items from this store for 3 years when a fedex is just as close by.
Had to file a claim when they damaged my item in package which they packed themselves. Manager told me the receiver had to file the claim after several attempts and days of not contacting me back. This is not true he just didn’t want to deal with the issue and knew that it was less likely since it was an item I had sold online.
The UPS Store at 330 Washington in Hoboken is fantastic! We showed up on a very busy Sunday right before Christmas to have documents notarized, Justin was on top of it. This store was well staffed, well organized, the employees were focused and not staring at their phones, we will return to this UPS Store for all our future needs.
they can get the job done, but i strongly advice to do your research first and have a strong understanding what service you need and how much it costs, before coming here. i sent a package and ordered a full packaging but what i got was just a piece of plastic wrapped around my box, for which i was charged $20+. just be cautious and aware, or you would be taken advantage of.
The workers at this store go above and beyond to help you ship your packages!
Amazing UPS store! Great staff, very patient and helpful! Highly recommended! If you live in Jersey City, I recommend going to this store instead of the Jersey citytown square one. It is definitely worth it
