So, I had an appointment to replace my NYCID card a few blocks away from this location. Upon arrival, the registration clerk informed me that my Spectrum bill was not current enough to suffice for proof of address. To avoid returning home I googled printer services near me and was led to this one. Unaware the computer services only take debit/credit cards I ran to a CVS I noticed in passing and purchased a Vanilla Visa Card. When I sat at the computer I was still lost and did know the 1st thing to do. After asking Marvelous Mike basic stuff I should have known he was kind enough to come over and help a lame at technology girl out. On top of providing kindness, courteousness, efficiency, and much patience he literally saved the day. He is an excellent representation of the UPS brand and this store and should be highly commended. Thanx A Mill Guy.
Thank you so much Ali and Hamzul for your hard work and exceptional customer service. We had to ship over 50 boxes and I know it wasn't fun, but these guys got it done, all while assisting other customers.
I witnessed racial discrimination at this location. At the notary portion, my girlfriend and I both Black were rushed and spoken to rudely. A white couple came in afterwards and the same individual was soft-spoken and patient with them. He even went over their paperwork. That wasn’t the worse of it. A Black woman came to get some documents notarized afterwards and he claimed the person who notarizes in on lunch for a hour, while he was the notary person. It’s really messed that such individuals discriminate against Black folk in historically Black spaces.
The Indian man Hussain is extremely rude, aggressive and condescending. He always has an attitude and literally yells at customers. It’s uncomfortable and off-putting.
This has to the worse UPS store known to man. Why? Because I went in to get something notarized. When I walked in I saw another customer holding up the line speaking about a refund for money that was taken by the people that works in the store. After 15 mins standing there another employer walked out from the back he asked if anyone needed help I asked him about notarizing my paperwork he said that I would have to come back between 1 and 4pm. I explained to the gentleman I work at those times his reply was that is not his problem. I would never go back there again. I actually got my paper work notorized in the near by pharmacy. *Lousy service*
The older indian guy is so rude. Has an attitude because “he has a lot of work.” While I was am standing in line there was a young lady at the computers asking a question and he answered her in a rude way. He needs customer service training and be grateful he has his job. I came to pick up an Amazon package and return a tv with a prepaid label from Best Buy that says “PRINT AT UPS STORE FOR SMALL FEE”. Indian guy says I had to print it myself. Whatever. I ask to get my package and show him my id. Says I cant pick it up when the name is the same but addresses are different. I just moved so my address isn’t accurate but I had all the necessary info. Hope he gets fired.
I went there to drop off my packages, was on the line. Some other bustrd came and cut the line. Once it was my turn, I asked them that why they took him first, get ready for answer: because i have amazon return I don’t pay return, but that bustrd paid premium for his packages, so they took him first. I said amazon pays money to ups for returns. The biggest bullsht is coming. Ups doesn’t get paid for amazon returns. Him and his coworker was insist for this bullsht. Can you believe that ups is carrying returns for free? For free? Nothing is free buddy. Ok let me get something straight. As an Amazon HQ worker -internal audit- amazon definitely pays for returns to ups. I have been seen these return reports by my own eyes, I don’t need your false bllshts. Your prime customer is amazon, not some mdfckr. Do you freaking job right. Contacted Steve Chambers he is a good friend of mine already, you can check who he is he will take care of it. He will fix your attitudes you scmbags. You get paid for your job, do it right. Going to this shthole? Hell no.
Horrible staff, very rude on the phone. They don't want to help you. I haven't seen this behavior from any other UPS store. This is the first time I have encountered an employee who does not want to do the work. I wish it was possible to give 0 stars since you did not really help with anything. As I was combing through the reviews, it looks like I am not alone in my assessment. UPS, you probably need to take a look at this store.
Indian manager is VERY condescending and Rude. And another staff member was incredibly Nasty to a customer who only spoke French, he made mean remarks in front of the whole store..... Classy! Instead of helping him he was degrading him. Don't waste your time or money here.
It depends on your neighborhood. In Harlem the service is bad; go downtown for better service. This one on 116th Street, for what ever reason the Aribian guy always seems to have an attitude. Mike on the other hand is always helpful, I literally try not to have the Arabian guy not service me. What happened to satisfying your customer? UPS really need to address this.
