My friend, growing up the child of a Naval Officer, has lived all over the world. Quoting her she has received floral arrangements over the decades in many of those locations. Again, quoting her--"this is by far the most Beautiful Floral arrangement she has EVER received!! She especially loved the fact that some of the flowers were not opened upon delivery so she will have the pleasure of experiencing them for an extended period of time. So I Thank You All, sincerely!! For as long as she lives up there I will always use your business. P.S. She lauded over the delivery person as well!! OPEN GOOGLE REVIEWS
The BEST place to get flowers for your loved one. Beautiful arrays, well packaged, fair price. I’m lucky to live close! The people who work there are also so kind and generous. Thanks all.
The florist had my dozen roses perfectly arranged in a short amount of time. The roses are fresh and beautiful and the people working there were as sweet as ever. I would highly recommend their services.
I received a bouquet of flowers on a Saturday that I was unhappy with. I called and they sent me this new beautiful bouquet. GREAT customer service!
In addition to beautiful flowers and arrangements, this place has the best local gifts. I was visiting the area recently and was able to meet all my needs here for gifts to bring home to family and friends.
My Mom, a lover of Lillies, was so impressed with her Mother's Day flowers. The arrangement was, in her words "truly extraordinary". The flowers were some of the largest and most fragrant blooms she has ever seen. Also the arrangement was expertly and carefully done. It really was just great, I can smell them from here....Oh and everything was delivered professionally and on time!
They never delivered my order. I received an email stating the delivery took place but when I checked with my sister sent her flowers for her birthday she said she never received anything. I called the number listed on their website to talk to someone but you can’t even reach them, you get transferred to a call center where someone submits a complaint on my behalf and now I wait for someone to call me back. They have created a negative experience overall that at this point I simply want a refund and will go to another florist instead.
Very disappointed! No attention to detail!! Ordered flowers for a friend who lost a pet. The card message was signed from 4 names. My receipt showed the card as it should be read. However on the actual card there were only 2 names listed. Unacceptable!! Tried calling to complain and got an answering service, not an actual person in the shop. I requested a call back yesterday and still have heard nothing.
Terribly disappointed... 2nd time this has happened. Ordered an arrangement and 2 years ago the order went to someone else. This Valentines day I made sure I ordered 7 days ahead of time for delivery on the 14th. No delivery even after I called 3 times with a promise of a return phone call as to the whereabouts of the delivery. Today is the 15th and still no delivery and still no response from the Virginia Florist. I'm done.
If you live in the Alexandria, VA area, I urge you to get your flowers from The Virginia Florist! One of the best experiences I have had as a customer in addition to beautiful/fresh flowers! I was born and raised in Alexandria and my family still lives there, however I now live in California. I knew of The Virginia Florist as the place to get flowers in Alexandria and even worked there very briefly in high school. Well this week I decided to send my grandmother some flowers and the first place that came to mind was The Virginia Florist. The bouquet that was delivered was a little different/less impressive than what I thought I had purchased - but beautiful and fresh flowers nonetheless. After receiving an email asking me to review my experience, I decided to call and let them know I was a little surprised with what was delivered. The woman who answered the phone, Pam, was extremely nice and apologetic she said she would speak with the designer and get back to me. No more than five minutes later, the designer, Carol, called me and apologized profusely. She said they would send another bouquet to my grandmother as an apology for the inconvenience. Not 45 minutes later the flowers arrived at my grandmothers house, and unsurprisingly, they were absolutely gorgeous and fresh as if they had just been clipped. I wasn't even really upset with what was originally delivered, I just wanted to call and let them know that it was different than the picture. But I am happy I called, because this experience made my day. Seriously, I wish all my customer service experiences could be this efficient and pleasant. If you live in the Alexandria, VA area, don't think twice about using any florist other than The Virginia Florist!
