Our windows were to be delivered in 4-5 weeks. Other suppliers promised 7 weeks to 3 months. Service, quality, and price were beyond our expectations. Excellent company.
Wow!! I called this place to order windows for my home like $6k worth and right away knew something was wrong, couldn’t understand person answering phone, when asked if he was a sales person he promptly mumbled we can’t take card over phone and i had not even ordered yet!! When asked if there was maybe a manager I could understand I was immediately hung up on! I would not refer my enemy to this place! God knows how someone would be treated if they messed the order up. Plenty of other window companies in the valley who know how to be professional and will gladly take my business!
I just went in to purchase a exterior door and the price posted was $274 but when I went to the cash register to pay for the same door the price magically changed to $478. Clearly this is a bait and switch and if you value your customer's time and gas money you would post your prices correctly. I'll take my hard-earned money elsewhere.
I completed an over the phone order. Paid with a card and scheduled a delivery. Had a contractor lined up for installation. They showed up with the wrong order and after that the shenanigans began. I had to call the store 40 times in a 24 hour period to finally get Sim to stop lying to me. About call # 20 Brandon the store manager got involved. I know where Sim learned his customer service skills. I was promised a refund on delivery. I was promised a partial refund for their problems. At the window depot false promises are just another service offered in addition to taking your money, then selling your pieces off of your order, missing deliveries, stringing you along, flat out lying, putting you off, oh and sarcasm about their ineptness. There's nothing more refreshing than calling in, having your call transferred between every sales rep then the one snarky female getting on the phone attempting to belittle you after you've paid for a product. Brandon, I look forward to you reviewing my order and making it right by refunding money just like you promised. Oh and where the heck is my last window? I also copied this Google review and sent it to info@.....
I am a contractor that does 30-40 remodels a month so continuously need windows and went to the McDowell Window Depot and got a quote for windows then had the office to call and pay for them and my office transposed 2 numbers on the quote and the person on the phone did not bother to verify the name on the quote before accepting payment then when I discovered the mistake I went into the store 2 different times to get a refund and the first guy moved slow as a turtle and was busy playing on his phone the second time I went in the guy said he took the payment and that he would have to contact corporate to get my refund and that has been 2 weeks now and I still don’t have a refund and while I was there I needed to order windows for 2 more homes and he acted like I was an inconvenience for him because I needed to place 2 more orders. I have to go back yet again to see if I can get a refund because they do not answer the phone I would not be surprised that they did not cancel the order and when the windows arrive they will give them to the original person that ordered them and I’m sure they will tell me that I have picked the windows up.
Staff is really not helpful. Really feels like I am an inconvenience there trying to spend money. Customer service definitely is not part of the culture. This is after many phone calls and visits to the store.
Good prices but unfortunately bad customer service. Please train the salesperson, they represent the company, and it is sad when they don't care or lie to the customer.
Fantastic price , products and helpful staff Wonderful experience from start to finish
Third time is a charm, Super helpful friendly staff and price was good.
We had the WORST experience working with Window Depot and will never be customers again. We ordered 8 windows through Window Depot for our remodel because the quality seemed good and they were going to arrive sooner than windows from Home Depot. Little did we know it would be an absolute disaster. Two of the windows arrived with huge cracks in them, which Window Depot failed to notify us of. They reordered the broken windows but they continued to come in broken for 4 more reorders. When they finally arrived in one piece, one of the windows was the wrong size. They reordered the window and it came in as the incorrect size again. Seven months later we finally have all of the windows in our house without being broken or the wrong size. If this is how they always do business, I’m not sure how they make any money.
