This is easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with customer service period. This isn't a "real" Verizon store, but an authorized reseller called Russell Electronics, one of the worst vendors in DC. We went in to upgrade our phones, and were told we were getting a free upgrade. Wifi for the employees tablets kept cutting out, there was a mass of people waiting unable to get help, and the manager stayed in the back the entire time. After we got our phones, Verizon told us a few days later they never received any information from Russell and we had to pay for the entirety of the phones. I disputed the charge and Russell Electronics has now claimed that we signed up to buy two brand new phones, despite the fact that we turned in our old devices for an upgrade. Every review of this store is understated, do not ever go here. They will say give them a second chance like every other review for this store, but do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost. Verizon would be best served canceling their contract with this reseller, who somehow makes a massive cellular company seem honest because of how bad it is.
Store closes at 7:30 not 8, they should change that before someone pays $40 round trip for an uber. They’re also apparently out of Routers anyways, so that’s great.
Incorrect operating hours on their door QR code. Called several times yesterday to confirm their hours: no answer. Show up just before 9am when they open according to Verizon’s own website and the store’s individual website. not a soul in sight. Check the reviews on the Verizon site and you’ll see. They do not open on time. Complete disregard for customers. Deciding not to get Fios now.
Arrived at 915, place is supposed to open at 9. His coffee is there, e-mail logged in, but door locked? Waited for about 25 minutes and he rolls in on the phone not a care in the world. Asked why he was late for opening the door and he said he was on his break. How do you take a break in the first 15 minutes of being open?
This place is supposed to open at 9am. I got here at 9:45 and it’s still not open. 9:58 and still not open. Verizon was supposed to send me a modem but they somehow screwed it up and I can even pick up the damn thing because the store isn’t open when it’s supposed to be. Can google fiber please come to DC so we have more options for internet!!!
Showed up at 11:10 and this was on the door. Waited until 11:40 before going to the back door behind the building and knocking loudly. Employee answered - he was sitting in the break room ignoring four people waiting at the front door for an hour. Not worth your time - support another location.
Came here to drop off my Verizon FiOS stuff, it's a 25 minute drive from the city. Very fast service, waited less than a few minutes and I was out in 30 seconds.
I have no idea what’s this store’s problem! I have been calling them since November when I went to their store during business hours and they were not open they are never open. As you can see from all the notes on the door and the routers left outside. I drove 40 minutes to this store to return a router and they have literally never cleared their voicemail or been open. When I talked to Verizon customer service they tried to charge me for this stores incompetence. And watch when I leave this review they leave a super general “sorry for this bad experience” response. But why are you all not open during business hours or at least updating your hours to reflect when people will be in. Close down the store at this point
I needed to upgrade my Samsung phone and Daniel was fantastic in helping me find the right kind while keeping my current plan; he transferred all data from my old phone and gave me good instructions about my new one. He was great at multi-tasking with several customers in the store - there really should be more employees there in order to help other customers!
I was just here and i came to get some info about home internet. I had to wait more than 1 hour for just find out some basic information and they applied to home internet without getting my approval. They asked me some information which includes my ssn?! i was like, why do you need my ssn? And then the guy told me you have to fill out this form to find out your internet speed and i said okay Once i find my internet plan out they gave me a paper which shows they already sign up for me. I was shocked and furious, it was really unsatisfying experience.
