Really cool venue with great food. However, really understaffed, both downstairs and up. really made the experience less enjoyable. But still, great venue for food and music!

Went with a group of friends I think only one food order didn't have some mistake. We were the first customers of the night but they were out of several food items. I was offered bacon as an add-on only to be told when food arrived that they were out. Another friend was told she could only get the chili if she got chili fries. Food that arrived was mediocre at best and the drink options very limited and a touch overpriced. It's an ok little live music venue, but I wouldn't eat here again.

The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and lot of gluten free options. The ambiance is very cozy. Great service! Upscale bar food. Thunder road is a hidden gem in union square. Good place to bring friends to have an awesome dinner with great bands every night. Heard their brunch is awesome as well, can't wait to come back! Hidden gem in Somerville!

My husband and I went to Thunder Road on New Year's Eve for dinner and to see Playin' Dead. The music was great and the venue was perfect. I was especially impressed with the service. I watched in awe as the one and only server, Princess, efficiently and graciously served everyone in the place. The chef, the bartenders, and everyone else working there seamlessly provided the crowd with food and drinks all night. Thanks, Thunder Road, for a wonderful night.
