Extremely friendly staff. Great atmosphere with live jazz music. After being seated one of the staff members offered an even better seating arrangement. Good was delicious. I'll will definitely bring going back

The food was excellent, as well as, the live jazz music!!
The staff could have been better. Some of the staff seemed annoyed they were working at the restaurant. A couple of waiters seemed nervous interacting with guest, and others ignored guest while waiting on others more often.
I recommend having a reservation for this place because the staff seemed annoyed that we didn’t make a reservation ahead of time even though there was plenty of seating both inside and on the patio.
I highly recommend this place for young and older couples for a date night or a good time with adult friends. Not the place to bring kids because it’s upscale, but laid back. Definitely the Shabby Chic.

Best part: Live music, great ambience
Excellent customer service and good food.
Experiential place for service and music rather than just food. Would love to see more options for vegetarians.
Good place. Overall an amazing experience!

I went here last week when I was in Boston for work. I'm always a little weird about going out for dinner by myself if I'm not in an airport, but decided to check out the Beehive because of the live jazz. It ended up being perfect! Great atmosphere, great music, and friendly staff. The food is a little overpriced, but it kind of evens out since the performance is free.
My biggest complaint would be that there are two unfortunately located columns in between the bar and the stage, so if you're sitting at the bar you're not going to have a great view.
Would definitely recommend it for lone diners, couples, friends, or pretty much anyone who enjoys eating in a lively atmosphere that is still quiet enough to enjoy conversation!

I have been to Beehive multiple times in the past. They serve up a standard brunch fare, and the jazz is a nice addition. That being said, I don't think it is worth it to be greeted by sarcasm of the hostess or the rudeness that my party experienced. I was surprised and shocked by the offensive response to a simple question about seating our table. I have a lot of respect for the waitstaff who work during busy Sunday brunches- and I would expect that same respect in return.
Let's be honest, most of the people visiting Beehive are visitors and tourists. Is that really the impression that we want to give visitors of our city? There are plenty of places in the area that have better customer service and I would recommend those over Beehive in a heartbeat. Highly disappointed.
