Title Forward - Philadelphia

Great experience working with the title company. You really do not get to choose your title company when buying/selling a house to my limited knowledge, but they were great, helpful, and responsive. My two examples are 1 Moving the closing date earlier and making sure everything went smoothly, and 2 Closing day was a smooth experience; the title agent there made it go fast, and after we were done my lender wanted another document, so the title company sent a notary to my house within a couple hours and I didn't even have to adjust my day. Very helpful and friendly.

Title Forward is an absolute amazing title company! All communication was quick and every step in the process of closing was fully explained. Jenniffer and Brooke were great! The ease of uploading documents or receiving documents in one place made it easy for my mother to navigate. The closing was wonderful and stress free! Joe Buckley had my family and I laughing while completing the required documents in a breeze with full explanations of all documents. Joe Buckley is a highly skilled professional and made closing day for my family filled with joy. Title Forward was seamless from day of ratification to day of close. The EMD deposit could not have been made easier. My final closing numbers were accurate and provided well ahead of time. The signing agent was friendly and personable. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy/sell.

Title Forward did a terrible job with my sellers closing. They don't have their own office, but rent space or come to your location. Problems we had- 1. No one from Title Forward their hired notary showed up to settlement, and it appears no one from Title Forward was aware of this. 2. After 15 minutes we tried reaching people from Title Forward, but the closing advisor we had was off and hers was the only phone number we had. We had to do extensive digging to find another number and had to leave messages. We called the main number for Title Forward and were ON HOLD FOR 60 MINUTES before we gave up. We finally reached someone, they had to search around for another notary to send. 3. The new notary arrived, but Title Forward gave her the wrong file. 4. Title Forward sent the paperwork to the rented office, but the file was too large 45 pages for the rented office, so they had to break to send the file to them in pieces in order to print. 5. The notary was good enough, but we had to go through the documents via phone call. 6. We were there 3.5 hours for documents the seller needed to sign, which should have taken 20 minutes. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Their staff in DC and MD are extremely responsive, and they’re great at helping folks through the process of buying or selling a home, whether you’re a first time buyer with a ton of questions or an investor who buys and sells multiple times a year.
