Toasted Frog Bismarck

Took a few minutes to get greeted but our server Daryl made up for it with his fantastic service through out our meal. He was bubbly and continued to check on us throughout the meal to make sure we were completly satisfied. We were told the kitchen was short staffed with a couple prep cooks on vacation and missing line cooks so the food took a little bit longer to get to us but absolutely worth the wait!! We got the scallops for a appetizer (worth the price!) and my boyfriend got the NY strip for his dinner and is still talking about how great it was and saying next time we have date night we need to revisit. I’m a pizza fanatic so I of course got a pepperoni pizza and the portion was enough for me to enjoy the leftovers the next day.

This place is awesome!! We had dinner and dessert for less than $30, enjoyed every bite, and had a server who was hilarious and attentive. The atmosphere has a lot of character, but manages to keep things low key. In addition to our incredible server (his name is Alex, he has a glorious beard and a quick wit), two other workers stopped by our table to greet us. Personal recommendation: Get their fried pickles appetizer. Theirs are the best fried pickles.

Ft. Ood seems to be hit or miss. 4 of the 5 dinners at my table were good, one wasn't what was expected. Great wine selection, and a nice bar. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely consider trying the Toasted Frog again. Fun atmosphere.

Best wings ever, service is superb. I recommend everyone with good taste try The Toasted 🐸.
