Tomasita's

This is a great restaurant in a quaint brick building by the railroad tracks. The food is good but it is a very popular place for tourist and extremely crowded. They do vary good job of moving tables and getting people in and out, so our wait wasn't too long. We just had to walk sideways most times to get through the groups or stop and let others pass. Staff was friendly and food was good. Tomasita's is a nice place, but too crowded for my taste.

It was great. They took care of us and we were a group of about 40 seniors. Service was friendly and quick. Lovely meal. Because of the size of our party the tip was already added to the cost of the meal. It was still reasonable and well worth the cost for the food and the top notch service.

Now this place is really, really crowded, with locals and tourists. They serve generous portions and fair reasonable prices. Initially you have to wait to be seated, but once you are seated they take care of you quickly and continue to be very attentive. They are very friendly and welcoming. Their menu is varied and delicious! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing including an outside patio. My wife and I highly recommended it. Five stars.

Went for lunch and enjoyed my Veg Tamale platter. The corn flavor came through vividly and the texture overall was quite good. Glad I was able to get the red & green chile sauce on the side because if it was smothered in either one, the dish could have been awful and so spicy that all the delicious flavors would have been lost too. If you are looking for a meal so filling that you won't need dinner, this is the dish for you. Between the rice, beans, cheese, corn... it's a filler-up for sure. Loved the fried bread that is delivered hot and tasty accompanied with honey butter, which was like our dessert. Scrumptious and decadent. This place is always crowded so be ready for the wait.

Amazing food service is great. Punctual staff. The food is excellent and the place is clean. It's loud but in a good way. Live music and a great atmosphere. Only complaint is bathroom stalls too uncomfortably small. Had to tiptoe next to toilet to close the door.
