Town Fair Tire

I had a slow leak repaired. Made an online appointment & dropped it off. Only a minimal charge because I bought the extra road hazard policy. 2 of our cars are outfitted with Town Fair Tires, and the third is soon to follow.

Casey and the other gentlemen that work here are extremely pleasant and wonderful. I received a flat on Sunday night and called Monday to schedule an appointment. I came in and was greeted right away and my tire looked at. I was not taken advantage of due to me being a girl unlike every where else ive gone to for my car in this state. Casey said he can try and plug the tire but unfortunately couldnt save it. But he was honestly and very friendly which is a nice change.

Crappy service. Not very enthusiastic or helpful at the counter. It was not busy at all and I expressed to them that the job at hand was very time-sensitive. They never called or texted when the job was done so I missed out on my next appointment. Will not be back.

If I could go lower than one star I would. After waiting 2 hours to get a tire changeover and wheel balancing, they had done the job incorrectly and gave me a dangerous car to be driving - they clearly don't check over their work, nor do they perform test drives. It appeared that they only had one weight to use in balancing, so they had to stack multiple weights on top of one another. This is an incorrect practice. Different density weights are used where you need to retain the volume and increase the mass. You don't stack them. In stacking these weights, every time the wheel rotated, the wheels would slam into my brake caliper. If I had left the shop, I could have severely damaged my caliper, rotor, who knows what. In addressing the service manager about the issue of me driving off in an unsafe car, I was told to stop "giving hypothetical scenarios" and to "stop making it such a big deal." Unacceptable. After asking the service manager to speak to the store manager, he provided me a full refund, and apologized for the tech's actions. They let me drive off with a dangerous car. That's a problem. I will never go there again. Don't waste your money at this place - 0 attention to detail, no trust.

It's always a pleasure doing business with Town Fair Tire. The staff, especially Jack, are top notch. Quality and prices can't be matched.
