Toyota of Manhattan Sales

Generally, I think they do a pretty good job. Like most service garages, I’m not sure that I totally trust the necessity of all the service they propose, and I’m not a certified Toyota mechanic, so what choice do I have. This place seems to have, in my experience, a chronic problem with follow up. Specifically, they say they will call you when my car is ready to pick up, but they usually don’t. I’ve had to call them every time but once to see if my car was ready. Also, they don’t seem to hesitate to keep your car overnight without telling you they are going to do so. And some employees are more helpful than others. The farther you go up the food chain, the more helpful they appear to become. They also appear to have a hard time retaining service agents — the ones who are in charge of seeing your vehicle gets properly serviced. Every time I take my car in for servicing I deal with a new person.

The people are very friendly and helpful and the price for my RAV4 was competitive. My only complaint concerns the time it took to pick up the car. I was at the dealership for over two hours, in part because their credit person got stuck in traffic and in part because not enough of the paperwork was done in advance. Despite that, I would recommend the dealership. It will be a few months before I’ll be able to comment on the service department.

Excellence in every way!!! This is a FIVE STAR Dealership!!! The 2011 Corolla I own, is really a car I bought for my wife. The last 4 cars I have been using are German made. But, what a pleasure it is to bring my Corolla to Toyota of Manhattan!!! EVERYONE who works there is a PR O F E S S I O N AL!!! Please do keep up the good work, Toyota of Manhattan!!!
