Toys"R"Us

What a loss that Toys R Us is closing. They started carrying more shark/human hybrid toys and skull toys as our society has changed. I remember buying realistic semi trucks and pickups with my Dad as a boy and probably too many realistic war toys which were treasured. The 1970s and 1980s were the golden age of kids toys. Many of my own kid's toys are historic toys I bought on eBay or replica toys like Corgi cars, semis, or the diecast Yellow Submarine. We will miss Toys R Us.

It's good when the prices are the same or better. But for me I go for the Transformers n there's usually only one or no character difference than Walmart or Target. Use to go a lot cause they'd have what no other place would. Which is still true for some things. But not what I'm looking for sadly.

I went there on Christmas Eve.. looking for a telescope for my grandson. Not only did they have it.. they also had it in the set with the microscope.... I got the whole thing on sale and... they had it in stock!! Awesome!!! I hope they don't close this one in Lake Charles

Great experience..I was helped by an associate name Marcus who was quite helpful. He was very patient and knowledgeable about the toys and where they were located. We guided me throughout the store until I found the perfect toys to purchase for our granddaughter. Marcus went above and beyond in providing me with excellent customer service and I wanted everyone to know that ToyRUs in Lake Charles Louisiana definitely have outstanding customer service. 10 percent off all toys, but the prices are so high it makes me wonder if they raised the price first.
