Transit Center

I think most every single bus driver has been very courteous. The buses run on time 95 percent of the time. I rely on the system. A few more routes would be nice though. And people actually may use the bus on Sundays as well, so Sunday service would be nice.

Drivers are extremely rude to the point that I consider walking in the cold. The busses are often late and the drivers love to stop the bus and eat, when they are currently LATE. Then they speed down the road to be on time. They literally believe that they can treat you however they want because they feel a sense of power knowing they can kick you off any time they want to. It's one thing when a bunch of 50 year old bus riders are hitting on a 16 year old. I don't expect them to stop that unless I'm being harmed. It's another thing when it is the STAFF, the grown bus drivers, and even the security guards! Don't take the metro system unless you absolutely have to. Keep your head down and just do what you gotta do.

On route 10 today returning to the transit center there was a man with a dog on the bus. The dog was ill behaved , with no vaccination tags or licenses. She was NOT marked a service dog. Allegedly the owner had shown the paperwork to the driver. So many of us complained because the owner was obviously drunk or mentally ill. He tried to pick fights and finally got off the bus. The bottom line is I called the humane society and animal control. The driver lied. There has to be a picture of the dog to verify it's the one on the papers. Also , no dog without vaccinations and licenses can be a service dog. The dog is a danger to passenger safety and health. The next time it is on the bus I've been told to call the police.

The little grey haired lady who drives bus 38 will yell and be rude to the polite riders. Yet today she let a homeless man sleep on the handicap beach and WATCHED & LISTENED while he refused to move for a lady with a cane and a gentleman with ALS. When someone complained she said , "Well you should have woke him up." not her. Us. I don't think so. AND she doesn't make homeless ppl scan their cards on a turn around. She doesn't want trouble. I took a picture and gave a report to security AND the route supervisor. EVERY time I ride her bus I'm going to record her attitude and these incidents like I used to do for Kevin. M.

On bus 23 #1708 at 11:03 Friday the 20th with an angry female African American driver texting instead of driving and spraying some kind of perfume in the air so thick I'm having coughing fits because I have breathing problems. She didn't ask and if my issues were any worse we'd have had to call 911. Also let a homeless woman take a seat where a handicapped man had to put all his stuff in the aisle
