Confidence boosting and positive atmosphere for the kids... I also was turned off by the pushy sales tactics. Sale flyers can be handed or emailed to parents without the kids knowing. Sponsoring a child through an expesive activity/ dedication like this is not easy for most households.

We went here because of the TCAPS free class. It seems like a good class but I did not like the pushy sales tactics and the higher price than other places in town.

You will get out of it what you put into it. One month in and I've lost 9 pounds already. Master Pline is highly skilled and professional. The environment is very friendly and has a great atmosphere for learning. I highly recommend it!

Traverse City ATA is a safe, fun learning environment where children thrive! My four children, ages 4, 7, 13 and 15 have been training with Master Pline since 2012 and we all absolutely love it! Every class provides a great physical workout and fabulous mental exercise.
The awesome instructors at Traverse City ATA instill priceless life skills onto every student. Honor, respect and self control are taught and demonstrated in a manner that children of all ages can understand and relate to.
I have seen a tremendous difference in my children's behavior at home and at school since they began training. They are well focused, earn better grades and show great manners.
Training at ATA has been one of the greatest and most important decisions I have ever made for my family!

It is not my experience, but my sons that I want to talk about. My son Chris was hit by a car when he was 15 years old, spent 22 days in a non-responsive coma and has a traumatic brain injury as well as other physical injuries that hinder some of his activities. He is now 34. What I would like to say is that when he first wanted to join, I was a little apprehensive. I wasn't sure how it would affect the limitations he has or how he would do. But, he wanted to try, so we gave it a shot. And I have to say it has been a remarkable experience for him!!!! Not only has his balance improved and his flexibility increased but his confidence has sky rocketed and he has become more patient and helpful. Now, I know that this Academy is not cheap. Believe me. I understand. But, it IS an academy which means that you are in a school. Now, I don't know who has checked tuition at even a city college level, but it is more than $9,000 for even an associates degree. And at ATA you are being taught by a MASTER. I wonder how much you would pay to be taught by a MASTER in any other subject or endeavor. (And it certainly costs more than that to GET a Masters degree in any subject you might want to learn.) And so, even at that level I have to say that it is a really good deal.
But, the last couple of weeks my son has seen his primary care doctor and his neurologist. His neurologist was impressed with his posture, his flexibility and his reflexes. Which is awesome. With his primary care doctor he got the BEST results on his blood work than he has EVER had. EVER!!!!!! And he has lost weight and is in the best physical shape he has been in since before his accident.
So, I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think I can put a dollar amount on that!!!!!
