Trek Bicycle Store of Charleston

I enjoy smaller, non-brand specific local bike shop(LBS) experiences more. It's not that anything is wrong with the shop or people but it just feels kinda corporate in there instead of a gritty bike shop where the techs/staff are super crazy bike nuts and love to chat you up vs. worrying about sales numbers for accessories, etc. Overall, a good enough experience but different.

We had a great initial experience, and found a bike my wife loved, so we decided to buy. The store didn't have the color my wife wanted, so it had to be ordered. We were told we'd have it by the end of the week (ordered on a weekend). On Thursday, they told us it was late on delivery, and would be ready mid-week next week. A week goes by with no word. We have to call several times to learn its going to be another week late. Hopefully tomorrow we will get the bike... They did offer to give us the new sale price for the bike, $50 off. It's something.

So glad to have found TREK West Ashley and the staff .. I am an old lady who wanted to start riding a bike again. I was outfitted with the perfect bike for me at a reasonable cost for the high quality machine I purchased. I am so pleased to be part of the TREK stores in West Ashley. Each employee has shared their passion for biking through their personable attention and service to me. I appreciate their continual patience as they answer my questions. I am brand new to today's bikes. Thank you Trek West Ashley.

Great, knowledgeable, and friendly staff when walk in the door. Brought in a Specialized mountain bike for routine tune up, and had it back within 24 hours riding pristine.

Had an amazing experience at this store. Oz helped me to select a wonderful new bike (Roscoe, which is totally amazing and highly recommended if you want to have some real fun out on the trail). Oz was very helpful and attentive. Very knowledgeable too. Both Oz and Dan stayed after hours to convert tires to tubeless. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is my new favorite shop and hands down the best bike shop I have been in in the Charleston area.
