Trek Bicycle Store of Mount Pleasant

I visited the Trek store here in Mount Pleasant a few days ago looking to tune up my bike. I spoke to a very knowledgeable mechanic named Kevin. He was so helpful with all my concerns, and professional even down to him opening the door for me when I picked up my bike. The prices were very fair and the work was top notch. Thank you to Kevin and the rest of the staff for my experience here!

Had a great experience here, and ended up getting a Roscoe 7. I came in two different times and really enjoyed chatting with the staff about how much the technology has changed in mountain bikes. Everyone I encountered was friendly and knowledgeable.

Bit disappointed. I had called prior to making a visit to this store, I ask what the labor rate for an hour was?, I was asked what I was looking for, I said I have a crank I want taken off. Gave info on bike, and what was actually (the exact part) to be removed. I removed everything but the sprocket side of the crank. I was told is was a case by case basis. I ask again, do you have an hourly rate for labor as I have some other things that need to be addressed, I was told; Not really. I ask if it was a case by case quote, I was told yes. So my next question was, i need to bring the bike to you, you tell me what it will cost to fix and that is it? He said yes. Not sure about another consumer, but if you can't give me a ballpark (about something self explanatory) and go by a case by case basis with no hourly shop or business rate?......all I can say is I wish mechanic shops were this vague on what labor rate was so I wouldn't waste my, or others time. Thanking you in advance for your professionalism, which is disturbing to a new customer and consumer. Have a great day. Went to Mikes bikes and wasn't even charged to remove a pedal and bought a tool for later installation.

Recently purchase an FX3 from this store. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and a great help. The bike exceeds expectations.
