If your looking for a good councilor don't go here these people need counseling themselves. I can not believe how they devalue human life. One even went as far as to say her dogs were just as valuable as kids and her husband was a kid too. Why would anyone tell a 13 year old this? Nothing was said no plan was made for a depressed child all she kept saying to her was" mental illness " what is wrong with these second rate councilors. They are more worried about making sure you are excepting of gay instead of addressing the issues that are suppose to be helping with. Sexual orientation isn't always at the forefront of a problem.

I have never been to this place but obviously Google needs to come up with a better rating system than simply a "star-rating" system. Ratings need to be weighted proportionally to the reviewer's reputation. Else, the reputation of a practice can easily be slandered or inversely the rating could be inflated as I just did. However, I mean no harm by this...I am only trying to make a point.

I was sent home with no safety plan after telling a doctor here I was suicidal. I switched doctors, to hopefully get better care. The next one asked me about my sexual preference (as if that has any bearing on the antidepressants he might prescribe me), and then told me that I need to see a therapist (which I already was, and he'd have known that if he was asking relevant questions) to "work out the confusion" of being LGBT.

This place is great. It has saved my life from drug addictions and suicidal tenancies. If you are patient and let them do what they need to do it will work for you too. People just expect a quick fix to their problems and that is not the way it works.

Today makes the 3rd time of trying to get my daughter back on her meds from moving from another state 4 months ago. I have everything I need but still refuse to help her. I am so fraustrated right now.
