Excellent high end work. I have brought several things to get repaired, including two 70+ year old leather products boots and a briefcase. They took extremely good care to repair the bad damage while keeping the aged look and even removed years of mold damage. Very impressed with their skill and care. No one I’d rather go to than Trio.
Trio Shoe Service beautifully resurrected my main pair of shoes. Further, it completed the resurrection unnecessarily quickly, days ahead of expectation. I'm now confidently back in business, with footwear excellence. -- JodyTucker.com April 13, 2022
In an earlier review I gave this company five stars for customer service and regret it! They destroyed my shoes and gave me a full refund but they didn’t replace the shoes. I appreciated the refund too much and gave them a good review but recently they also destroyed a pair of shoes for my niece. They were expensive Jimmy Choos and when she began to cry they actually called her a “cry baby”. Unbelievable. Truly truly unbelievable. I wish there was video of this we could post.
Service was amazing & very knowledgeable of my shoe repair needs. Was referred by Patagonia retail store for hiking shoes repair & they did not disappoint. Highly recommend them.
Horrible Customer Service! I have been twice. First time was okay, only okay. Went back a second time for an easy fix on my husbands shoes; he needed the soles glued on a pair of 6 month old docksiders. Easy right? HA! Looked okay when we picked them up, but oh my gosh it was highway robbery to repair. Then he worn them once and one soles' glue job came undone. Took them back, they said "sorry" and no we won't give you your money back. Such an attitude the woman took. Not even a store credit! Never again.
Unfortunately I had the same experience with unprofessional service. I took in a pair of shoes, vintage shoes, that I doubted could be repaired sole needed reattaching. I went to great lengths to explain I knew they were old and cheap materials, might not hold together if reglued. I asked and re-asked, having been previously unsuccessful with a similar pair. He assured and reassured me it'd be no problem, they were definitely fixable. They fell apart within the first *minutes* of wearing them. I was left limping around in another city, shoeless for an anniversary date night. When I returned with them to see what could be done, a woman was behind the counter and said I had to speak to the man, who was on vacation. A nice, long vacation as he wasn't there on my subsequent visits and all my voicemails and emails were ignored. I was never compensated/offered an explanation and, adding insult to injury, they kept the shoes.
I took a pair of Tod's driving loafers there to get some light water spots out of the leather wore them 4 times of a pair of light gray drivers. When I picked them up they were dark gray/black and had cracks all over the shoe. The guy's response was "Tod's makes an inferior product and you should go to the store and demand a refund." I explained how I've owned over a dozen pair of Tod's over the last few years and love them and never had this problem. Nonetheless, I went to the store and they laughed at me and even called Trio on my behalf letting them know how the store damaged my shoes. I returned to the store only to be asked to leave and zero compensation for them ruining a pair of $695 drivers I wore only a handful of times. I'm surprised how they've been open to long given the reviews, cost, and sincere lack of caring for their customers or the damage they cause. The world would be a better place if they found another profession.
Can't speak for these other reviews, but I'm certain this repair shop is much better than depicted here. I brought in a pair of shoes that were hand made in Africa two sizes too big. They attempted to scale them down but the finished product was not what I wanted. They gave me a full refund and were extremely helpful in finding a solution. They don't know me and I don't know them so no special treatment here. Five stars for customer service.
Excellent customer service! Amazing work and craftsmanship. Young guy was professional and beyond knowledgeable. Thank you for repairing and adjusting my boots! Also i noticed a really nice and cute looking red bearded man there I wonder if he would give me his number
This place is THE WORST! I had a pair of shoes that I wasn't ready to get rid of which had scuff marks on them. I googled shoe repair places to get them buffed out/repaired and Trio Shoe Service was one of the places that displayed. Another place also displayed called Santana creative located at 3535 Peachtree Rd Ne, ste 510 Atlanta, Ga 30326. Since Santana's was a little bit more expensive, I chose to take them to Trio. The experience taking my shoes there wasn't that bad. The guy who accepted my shoes was actually really nice. It was when I called to see if my shoes were ready, is where the problem came in. When I first brought my shoes in, the guy told me that my shoes MIGHT be ready within three or four days. He handed me a receipt that said "WE WILL CALL YOU WHEN THIS ITEM IS READY". Due to my busy work schedule, time got away from me. A week and a half, almost two weeks went by and no hear from Trio. I then called to explain that I dropped my shoes off however never heard back from anyone. The lady who answered the phone was sooo rude to me. She stated, "Ma'am we do not do call backs!" with MAJOR attitude and I then said, " Well ma'am how am I to know when my shoes are ready?" her response was, "We can't possibly call every customer back. We are too busy, but anyway your shoes are ready so come and get them." I WILL NEVER GO back to this God awful place AGAIN. Talk about customer service.. This place has no idea what it means. If you want your money's worth go to Santana Creative. It is a much better atmosphere and their customer service is SUPERB!
