U-Haul Moving & Storage at Rio Rancho

Horrible- I went in to try to get a rental for this weekend and all the man told me was “we don’t have anything for this weekend or next unless you made a reservation before hand. Everywhere in Rio Rancho and Albuquerque is booked this time of the year because everyone is moving.” I move on to tell him if he can still check the system for anything... And he told me I can tell you from the top of my head, that everything is booked. And during my conversation with him a man comes in asking about needing to move this weekend too. And the other worker was giving him EVERYTHING they had available. So I’m waiting there for the guy to tell me something else, and no, all he did was look at his screen. IF I could I would rate them a 0. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE. I called the UHUAL on 1650 southern Blvd SE Rio Rancho, and the customer service was AMAZING and they were able to find me something to move tomorrow. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS LOCATION.

Very helpful staff. Helped us to decide what we needed for packing and the proper car carrier for our needs.

Be wary of the sales people. The people that set up the contract don’t seem to be knowledgeable in the fees and processes for the truck. They will tack on a lot of extra fees and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it since they have your card on file. Won’t be using Uhaul again in the future. Stick with Budget or Penske unless you wanna pay double the charge you were quoted.

Used these guys when we moved to Rio Rancho to store our stuff back in September. Been back for other services offered. Great group but sometimes a little bullheaded. Would be a five but had issues where guys didn't listen well or where they locked knowledge I felt they should have had. Overall, good experiences regardless.
